Registration sensors SICK Glare, KTS Prime, etc.

The Glare sensor recognizes and distinguishes the gloss on a flat surface.
Contrast sensors are mainly used in packaging and printing machines for label recognition.

The Ax20 linear sensor works on the principle of scanning. It recognizes the most subtle shades of gray in the field of view. One of the many tasks of this sensor is, for example, positioning the paper tape along the edge or in relation to the contrast line.
Luminescent label sensors detect visible and invisible markings that become visible under the influence of ultraviolet radiation.

Fork (slot) sensors combine the transmitter and receiver in one housing and thereby provide quick setup. Thanks to the precisely focused light beam and high recognition accuracy, the sensors detect even the slightest attenuation of light.

Color sensors register the color of the surface. The sensors direct a beam of light (red, green and blue) at the object being checked, calculate the chromaticity coordinates from the reflected radiation and compare them with previously stored baseline values. If the color coordinates are within the set tolerance, the output switching device is activated.
The sample sensor is a scanning optoelectronic sensor. Characteristic image samples serve as a reference for subsequent accurate recognition and positioning of objects.
RS10 registration sensors are specially designed to control the drive on printing machines and represent the optimal solution for recognizing labels in difficult printing conditions with exceptionally low contrast, complex multi-color printing or at particularly high speed.
